NPEA, in collaboration with IIN, organised a knowledge-sharing session for local limited partners, including institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). Attended by more than 35 LPs, the session highlighted private equity and venture capital as an emerging asset class and explored how institutional investors can participate in alternative investment funds.

Drawing on insights from India’s alternative investment industry, Nepal’s LPs discussed on the growth of private capital markets, sources of institutional capital, and the evolving role of investors in supporting the expansion of alternative investment funds. Discussions also covered governance mechanisms, investor rights, LP-GP relationships, and global practices that contribute to building a mature and transparent alternative investment ecosystem.
